The Freedom of Information Act 2000 entitles you to access recorded information held by public authorities, subject to a number of exemptions.
To submit a request, please complete the form below and attach it to an email sent to the Information Compliance Team (ICT) at foi@admin.ox.ac.uk.
The ICT will aim to respond to your request within 20 working days of receipt.

Limits of Disclosure
The University will disclose information wherever possible. However, in certain circumstances, it will be necessary to employ one of the exemptions to the general requirement to release information. In any case where information is refused, the University will specify which exemption is being claimed and why. All requests for information will be carefully considered on their own merits and with close regard to the public interest. Further information on your rights under the FOIA is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office.

If you are not satisfied with the response to your request, you may ask the Head of Information Compliance to review it.
